1. Iron Flame, The Empryean Series - Rebecca Yarros
Iron Flame, part of The Empryean Series by Rebecca Yarros, is the thrilling sequel that follows Violet, the female main character, as she reveals buried secrets at Basgiath War College. Packed with action and unexpected twists, this installment will keep you on the edge of your seat. I even found myself shedding a tear or two by the end of the story.
2. One Dark Window, The Shepard King Series - Rachel Gilligi
A dark fantasy novel centered on Elspeth Spindle, a young woman from the mist-covered kingdom of Blunder. Elspeth carries a secret: a fever that bestows her with magical powers, while being tormented by a dark spirit called the Nightmare. This distinctive fantasy realm provides a refreshing new concept from other fantasy novels encountered, filled with riddles, peril, and romance. I devoured this book in just one day!
3. The House Witch - Delemhach
This charming and humorous felt series follows a named Finley Ashowan, who serves as a cook for a king and his court. Although he attempts to keep his identity a secret, it doesn take long for others to discover the truth. I found this book delightful to read, as it has a light and leisurely pace.
